I have a thick long hair and this iron do well enough job for my styling to hold. The highest temperature is 410

I like the heating options, plus it heats up rather quickly. I have course curly hair although i brushed thru it so it looks frizzy in one pic. I did use heat protection spray and the flat iron did not have any film burnt on the iron. I was very impressed with the results and it did not take long to straighten my hair. Very happy with purchase!
