I'm dropping 2 stars off my original review because I too am now experiencing consistent drops between the 2 earbuds. When I first got these I didn't have any issues but now as I walk with them every morning for about a hour I get probably 20 to 30 drops or cutouts from the left earbud.

I bought the SoundSport Free (SSF) earbuds to use at the gym with a SanDisk SDMX28 Clip Sport Plus bluetooth MP3 player. I will say this - the packaging these come in is beautiful
